Bilibili (哔哩哔哩) identifies a video with a BV ID - the letters BV followed by a string of characters - which replaced the older numeric AV numbers, though those still redirect. Two other things shape what you actually get. Many uploads are multi-part, with the part selected by a ?p= number in the address. And a large slice of the catalogue is licensed anime, drama and film, restricted by region, by account, or by paid membership.

Open the video page. The address is the domain, /video/, and the BV ID. A user space, a channel or a search page identifies more than one video and cannot be used.
Pick the part you want. If the upload has several parts, the list sits beside the player and choosing one adds ?p= and a number to the address. Without it you get the first part.
Or use the app's share link. The share option in the app produces a b23.tv short link, usually wrapped in Chinese text. Pasting the whole message is fine.

- The highest resolutions on Bilibili are reserved for signed-in accounts and premium members. What is served to a signed-out visitor is a lower tier, and no tool changes what the platform hands out.
- A great deal of the licensed catalogue is limited to mainland China. If a page will not play for a signed-out visitor outside that region, there is nothing to retrieve.
