Xiaohongshu (RedNote) is a Chinese lifestyle and discovery platform built around notes - 笔记 - which can be a photo carousel, a video, or a mixture with a written article attached. Its share links also carry an access token, which makes them unusually fragile if you edit them.

Open the note. Tap the note in the app so it opens fully. Check whether it actually plays - many notes are image carousels with no video in them.
Tap 分享 (Share), then 复制链接 (Copy link). The share icon is at the top right of the note. Copy link gives you an xhslink.com short address, usually wrapped in a message of Chinese text.
Paste it complete. Do not trim anything off the end. Xiaohongshu share links carry a token that is part of what makes the note reachable, and removing it can break the link.
